“Shall we go to drink coffee next time?” is an undesirable sentence for me.
It indicates that those people regard coffee as most favorite drinks for lively conversation.
There are many variety of drinks. Why don’t we normally drink milk while chatting?
Or rather, it unlikely happens that one would ask me “Shall we go to drink pepsi cola?” for a date. I would have a clear understanding of their drinking preference.
“Shall we go to a café?”, that is what I hear anyway.
The origin of Café is coffee in French, and according to the dictionary, the meaning shifted to what we nowadays consider as a shop, which serves drink and cake.
In conclusion, I cannot avoid my coffee’s curse.

Chapter 5

It was already 8 times in the last 6 month for her to stay at her Uncle´s home. At the first visit, her uncle and aunt ate breakfast together.
They were just reading on the sofa near the dining table, on which there was one cup of instant coffee, sunny side up egg and two small toasts on a round plate for her breakfast.
Her 9th stay was quite a long time after the last visit.
As soon as she came to the kitchen for breakfast as always, her aunt sprang up from the sofa, came to the kitchen and offered her one cup of coffee.
While she was frying a sunny side up egg, she got caught in a cross fire of not-important-but-unusual-questions from her aunt as if her aunt would hide a butterfly in her stomach.
Suddenly, her uncle got off from the sofa, entered the kitchen and stood in front of a new glossy red half-round machine.
He picked up one small dark green metallic container from a glass box, put it in the machine, and gave his niece a cup of cappuccino.
In the evening of the same day she was looking for a kettle in the kitchen to drink a herbal tea, which was a birthday present from a friend. The tea used to be next to a banana-hanger but what she found the place was occupied with a brand new glossy red half-round machine.
According to the aunt, the kettle was thrown away since her uncle and aunt don´t drink instant coffee anymore.
She boiled 244 ml water by the microwave.
